A refreshing summer salad combining sweet watermelon, creamy feta, and fragrant basil, drizzled with balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • ½ large seedless watermelon

Dairy

  • 4 ounces feta cheese (crumbled)

Herbs

  • ½ cup basil leaves ((about 10))

Condiments

  • 2-4 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions 

  • Cut the watermelon into one-inch cubes and basil leaves into chiffonade ribbons.
  • In a large bowl, arrange watermelon, dust feta over it, and sprinkle basil ribbons.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad in criss-cross lines. Serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, chill the salad before serving.
