A classic and refreshing fruit salad with crunchy walnuts and a creamy dressing, perfect for a light snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Fruits and Nuts

  • 2 cups diced apples (preferably Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) (Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning)
  • 1 cup thinly sliced celery
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Dice apples, slice celery, halve grapes, and chop walnuts. Toss with lemon juice.
  • Mix Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and honey until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour dressing over fruit and nut mixture. Gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill and meld flavors.
  • Give the salad a final toss before serving. Garnish with extra walnuts if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, chill the salad thoroughly before serving.
