This Caesar salad is a delightful mix of fresh ingredients, crispy bacon, and savory chicken, all tossed in a homemade dressing.

Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • ½ small purple onion
  • 12 oz. grape or cherry tomatoes
  • 6 strips cooked bacon (see my easy broiled bacon recipe)
  • 4 oz. fully cooked chicken strips
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese
  • 1 cup homemade caesar dressing

Instructions 

  • Start by separating, rinsing, and patting dry the romaine lettuce leaves.
  • Cut the romaine lettuce and place it into a large bowl. Add halved grape tomatoes, chopped green onions, sliced purple onion, chopped bacon, and chicken strips.
  • Add freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese to the salad.
  • Drizzle with homemade caesar dressing and toss the salad. Serve immediately!

Notes

Tip: Use the bacon oil to broil chicken strips for added flavor!
