Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning

Chips and Cheese

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cook ground beef with taco seasoning until browned, then drain and set aside.
  • Spread tortilla chips on a baking sheet, top with beef and shredded cheese, then bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and add fresh toppings: tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and sour cream.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve with salsa or guacamole.
