A delightful dessert combining a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy cheese layer, and a fruity strawberry topping.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 295 g pretzels (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)

Jello Layer

  • 6 oz strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (sliced)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Melt butter, mix with sugar and pretzels, then press into the dish and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth, fold in whipped topping, and refrigerate.
  • Dissolve jello in boiling water, add cold water and strawberries, then refrigerate until slightly thickened.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust, chill for 30 minutes, then add jello layer.

Notes

For best results, chill layers thoroughly before assembling.
