Ingredients

Meat and Vegetables

  • 14 ounces sirloin steak, sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 7 ounces broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • 6 tablespoons lime juice
  • 6 tablespoons dark soy sauce
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1-2 red chilies finely chopped (+ more for garnish)
  • 4 spring onions cut into 2 centimeter pieces (+ more for garnish)
  • 14 ounces fresh egg noodles

Garnish

  • chili flakes, chopped chilies, and spring onions for garnish

Instructions 

  • Toss steak with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Cook beef in hot oil until crispy, then set aside.
  • Stir-fry red pepper, broccoli, garlic, and ginger for 2-3 minutes.
  • Mix lime juice, soy sauce, sugar, and chilies; add to vegetables and simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Cook noodles until tender; drain.
  • Combine beef, noodles, and spring onions; toss and heat through. Serve garnished with chili flakes, chilies, and spring onions.

Notes

Adjust chili levels to taste for spiciness.
