A creamy, cheesy casserole combining ground beef, noodles, and sour cream for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Meat and Pasta

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces egg noodles

Dairy and Canned Goods

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Vegetables and Seasonings

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook noodles as per package; drain.
  • Brown beef with onion; drain fat.
  • Mix beef, soup, sour cream, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine with noodles, transfer to dish, top with cheese, and bake 25-30 mins.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a dash of paprika or hot sauce.
