This flavorful smoked paprika chicken is quick to prepare and perfect for a smoky, juicy meal.
Ingredients
Protein
2
lbs
boneless (skinless chicken thighs or breasts
(Thighs are juicier, but breasts work great if you prefer leaner cuts.)
2
tbsp
smoked paprika
(Adds a bold (smoky flavor that’s the star of the dish.))
1
tsp
garlic powder
(Complements the smokiness with a savory depth.)
¾
tsp
salt
(Enhances all the flavors for a well-balanced dish.)
3
tbsp
olive oil
(Keeps the chicken moist and helps with browning.)
Instructions
Preheat broiler to high and position rack 6 inches below heat.
Pat chicken dry, mix paprika, garlic powder, and salt; coat chicken evenly.
Brush baking sheet with 1 tbsp olive oil, arrange chicken, then drizzle remaining oil on top.
Broil chicken for 7 minutes, flip, then broil another 7 minutes until internal temp reaches 160°F.
Rest chicken for 2–3 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use thighs for juicier results, and ensure chicken reaches 160°F for safety.
