A quick and fresh pasta dish featuring cherry tomatoes, garlic, and basil for a vibrant, flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 200 g spaghetti or pasta of choice
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • a handful fresh basil leaves (roughly chopped)
  • to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened and juices are released.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the tomato mixture, tossing to coat.
  • Stir in chopped basil, season with salt and pepper, then serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh basil for the best flavor and adjust seasoning to taste.
