For the Sauce
3tbspsoy sauce
1tbspoyster sauce
1tbsphoisin sauce
1tspsesame oil
½tspblack pepper
For the Fried Rice
2cupscooked rice (preferably day-old, cold rice)
1lbbeef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
2mediumonions, thinly sliced
2clovesgarlic, minced
1cupmixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, etc.)
2eggslightly beaten eggs
2tbspvegetable oil (divided)
2green onionssliced (for garnish)
optionalSesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper to prepare the sauce.
Stir-fry sliced beef in 1 tbsp oil until browned, then set aside.
Cook onions until golden, add garlic, then scramble eggs in the same pan.
Add rice and vegetables, stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, then return beef and pour sauce over. Toss to combine and heat through.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
