Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound skinless boneless chicken breast
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp (fresh or frozen (thawed))

Vegetables & Aromatics

  • 1 medium onion (finely diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (freshly minced)

Sauces & Liquids

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin for best flavor)
  • 2 cups unsalted chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Spices & Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Pasta

  • 8 ounces cooked spaghetti (perfectly al dente)

Garnish

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions 

  • Sauté diced onion and minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  • Add chicken and shrimp; cook until cooked through.
  • Stir in flour, then gradually add chicken broth, milk, and cream; simmer until thickened.
  • Mix in Parmesan cheese, seasonings, and cooked pasta; toss to combine.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
