1/2cupwarm milk(between 100-105°F)
1/4cupgranulated sugar
1 1/2teaspoonsactive dry yeast(6 grams)
1/2cuppumpkin puree(122 grams)
2 1/2cupsall-purpose flour(370 grams)
1teaspooncinnamon
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonground nutmeg
1/2teaspoonground ginger
1largeegg yolk
1/4cupmelted butter(divided, 85 grams total)
1/4cupbrown sugar(50 grams)
2tablespoonspumpkin spice seasoning
1tablespooncinnamon sugar
1/2cupheavy cream(125 ml)
4ouncescream cheese(softened)
1/4cupmaple syrup(125 ml)
Instructions
Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit 5 minutes. Add pumpkin and mix.
Mix yeast mixture with flour, spices, salt, and egg yolk; knead until smooth. Let rise 1 hour.
Mix melted butter with brown sugar and pumpkin spice; roll out dough, spread butter mixture, fold, and cut into strips. Twist and place on baking sheet.
Proof cinnasticks 30 minutes, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes until golden.
Prepare maple cream cheese dip by whipping cream and mixing with cream cheese and maple syrup. Serve warm cinnasticks with dip.
