½cupbarbecue sauce(your favorite brand or homemade)

1tablespoonDijon mustard
1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
1teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonchili powder(optional for a slight kick)
Rice
1cupuncooked white rice(long-grain or jasmine recommended)
1 ¾cupsbeef broth(low-sodium)
½cupheavy cream
½cupshredded cheddar cheese
1tablespoonbutter
1smallonion(finely chopped)
3clovesgarlic(minced)

Instructions
Marinate the steak with soy, Worcestershire, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
Mix barbecue sauce, honey, Dijon mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, and chili powder to make the honey BBQ sauce.
Sear the marinated steak in hot oil for 2-3 minutes per side, then set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft, then add rice and toast for 1-2 minutes.
