A quick and flavorful one-pan dish combining tender garlic butter chicken with fluffy rice, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3 cups Chicken thighs
  • 1 cup Rice ((½–¾ Greek yogurt))
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Butter Butter
  • chicken broth Chicken broth
  • Salt & pepper Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Optional veggies + parsley Optional veggies and parsley (for garnish and added flavor)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and sear in butter until golden, about 4–6 minutes per side.
  • Transfer chicken, sauté minced garlic in the pan for 20–30 seconds, then toast rice for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scrape browned bits, bring to simmer, then nestle chicken on top.
  • Cover and cook until rice is tender and chicken is cooked through, about 12–15 minutes.
  • Turn off heat, let rest for 3–5 minutes, then fluff rice and garnish with parsley or lemon zest.

Notes

Ensure not to brown the garlic too much to avoid bitterness.
