A comforting classic, this chicken pot pie combines tender chicken and vegetables in a flaky crust for a hearty meal.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Cook chicken and vegetables in a skillet until tender.
In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in flour, salt, pepper, and celery seed to make a roux. Gradually add chicken broth and milk, cook until thickened.
Combine chicken mixture with sauce and pour into one pie crust.
Cover with second crust, seal edges, and cut slits on top. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Use a pie shield or foil to prevent over-browning.
