Instructions
Brown the butter and set aside to cool.
Mix dry ingredients and combine with browned butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and diced apples.
Pour batter into a prepared baking pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40 minutes.
Allow cake to cool, then prepare the brown buttercream frosting by mixing softened butter, brown butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla.
Spread frosting over cooled cake and serve.
