Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper, and let sit 10 minutes.
Make the glaze: combine maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, vinegar, paprika, and thyme. Simmer 3-4 minutes until thickened.
Heat oil in skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken skin-side down 5-7 minutes until crispy, then flip and cook 2 minutes.
Brush chicken with glaze, transfer skillet to oven, and bake 20-25 minutes until cooked through. Brush with more glaze halfway.
Rest chicken 5 minutes, then serve with drizzled remaining glaze.
