Ingredients

Protein

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Dairy & Fats

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter

Aromatics & Condiments

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Herbs

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

Optional

  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For serving

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken in batches 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in skillet, add garlic, and cook 30 seconds.
  • Add mustard, lemon juice, zest, spices, and herbs. Return chicken, toss, and simmer 1–2 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley, serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh herbs for best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste.
