A fresh and tangy tuna salad with dill, lemon, and yogurt, perfect for a quick lunch or snack.

Ingredients

Canned Tuna

  • 1 can no-salt-added white tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallot
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill, plus more for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon whole-milk plain strained (Greek-style) yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon ground sumac
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • teaspoon ground pepper
  • Pinch salt
  • as needed Sliced whole-wheat bread, celery sticks and/or Bibb lettuce, for serving (optional)

Instructions 

  • Stir and mash tuna with mayonnaise, celery, shallot, dill, yogurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, mustard, sumac, sugar, pepper, and salt until well combined.
  • Transfer to a plate; garnish with additional dill if desired.
  • Serve with bread, celery sticks, or over lettuce, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh dill for best flavor and serve immediately.
