A flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring seasoned Italian sausages roasted with colorful peppers and onions.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 pound Italian sausages (6 sausages)

Vegetables

  • 1 red bell pepper red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper yellow bell pepper
  • 1 green pepper green pepper
  • 1 large white onion white onion

Seasonings & Oil

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet.
  • Slice peppers and onions; cut sausages into discs. Arrange on sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle seasonings, and toss to coat.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, toss, then bake another 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or mashed potatoes.
