A quick and flavorful dish combining spicy honey-glazed beef with rice and fresh vegetables for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Grains

  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Sauces & Condiments

  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Vegetables

  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber

Other

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté diced red onion for 2 minutes.
  • Add minced garlic and ground beef; cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  • Stir in soy sauce, hot honey, and red pepper flakes; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Divide rice into bowls, top with beef mixture, and garnish with cucumber and green onions.

Notes

Adjust red pepper flakes to taste for more or less heat.
