A delicious plant-based dish featuring crispy baked tofu coated in a sweet and savory honey soy glaze.
Ingredients
Tofu

extra-firm tofu

tablespoons
soy sauce

tablespoons
honey
2
cloves
garlic (minced)

tablespoon
sesame oil

tablespoons
cornstarch

teaspoon
fresh ginger (grated)
to taste
Black pepper

green onion (sliced)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat tofu dry, cut into cubes, and toss with cornstarch.
Arrange tofu on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
Mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil in a bowl to make the sauce.
Once baked, toss tofu in a pan with cooking oil over medium heat, add sauce, and cook until coated and glossy.
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle with sliced green onions before serving.
