  • 4 pieces heirloom tomatoes
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 0.25 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt flakes
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon truffle salt

Instructions 

  • Simmer balsamic vinegar with truffle salt until reduced by half, then cool.
  • Slice heirloom tomatoes and arrange on a plate. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
  • Layer tomato slices with basil leaves between them.
  • Place burrata in the center, gently cut to release creamy interior.
  • Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad, garnish with basil, and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe heirloom tomatoes for best flavor.
