These wholesome apple spice muffins are perfect for a nutritious breakfast or snack, combining warm spices with fresh apples and a moist texture.

Unsweetened Apple Sauce

Pure Maple Syrup

Instructions
Preheat oven to 220°C / 425°F and line a muffin pan.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; set aside.
Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
Combine wet and dry, then fold in apples and walnuts.
Scoop batter into liners and bake at 220°C for 5 min, then reduce to 175°C and bake 16-17 min until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 5 min, then transfer to a wire rack. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Notes
For best results, use fresh apples and store muffins in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
