A delicious and natural apple butter made with simple ingredients, perfect for spreading or snacking.
Ingredients

(choose a sweet variety like Gala or Honeycrisp)

apple cider vinegar

Instructions
Place cored and sliced apples into a slow cooker with vinegar and spices. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
Puree the cooked apples using an immersion blender or transfer to a blender until smooth.
Turn the slow cooker to high and cook uncovered for 1-2 hours to thicken.
Let the apple butter cool for 30 minutes before transferring to containers. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or freeze for up to a year.
