1boxchocolate cake mix
3large eggseggs
0.5cupvegetable oil
1cupwater
1teaspoonvanilla extract
8ozcream cheese, softened
0.5cupunsalted butter, softened
3cupspowdered sugar, sifted

2tablespoonsheavy cream
Chocolate Coating
2poundswhite melting chocolate or candy coating wafers
Food coloring gel in green, purple, orange, and redFood coloring gel(for decorating)
48piecescandy eyes(various sizes)
48piecescake pop sticks
as neededStyrofoam block or cake pop stand(for drying)
as neededSmall plastic bags(for melting chocolate)
as neededToothpicks(for mixing colors)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix cake ingredients, pour into pan, and bake for 28-32 minutes. Cool completely.
Crumble cooled cake, mix with cream cheese and butter, then add powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream to make frosting. Combine with cake crumbs.
Shape mixture into 2-inch balls, refrigerate for 2 hours. Melt white chocolate in intervals, dip sticks into chocolate, insert into balls, then coat entire ball. Let set.
Place cake pops on stand, add candy eyes while coating is still wet, then decorate with melted colored chocolate for monster features. Let all set before serving.
