A flavorful baked chicken dish with garlic, parmesan, and Italian seasonings, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, cut in half horizontally
  • 3 teaspoons paprika, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon (optional)
  • 1 or 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (or garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley, plus for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes, optional

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF (200°C) and season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, bouillon, and 1 teaspoon paprika.
  • Mix melted butter, olive oil, parmesan, pepper, garlic, remaining paprika, parsley, chili flakes, and Italian seasoning. Pour over chicken.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165ºF (75°C). Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with additional parsley before serving.
