Ingredients

Fruits

  • 16 ounces strawberries (hulled and finely diced)
  • 1 medium apple (peeled, cored, and finely diced)
  • 3 kiwis (peeled and finely diced)
  • 1 ripe mango mango (peeled and finely diced)

Salsa ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

Pita Chips

  • 3 6-in round pita bread pita bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1.5 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  • Mix diced fruits with honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Chill until ready to serve.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Brush on pita bread and cut into triangles.
  • Bake pita chips for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy. Cool before serving.
  • Serve fruit salsa with cinnamon sugar pita chips on the side.

Notes

Use ripe, fresh fruits for the best flavor and color.
