Delicious and simple vegan flatbreads made with chickpea and regular flour, perfect for a quick snack or meal.
Ingredients
Flours & Salt

cup
flour (or gluten-free flour)
1/3
cup
chickpea flour (gram or besan)

tsp
olive oil
scant 1/4
cup
warm water
pinch
salt
1 Tbs
tablespoon
Nigella (Kalonji) seeds (Optional)
Instructions
Mix the flours and salt together.
Make a well, then slowly add water and mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough, add half the oil, then knead more, adjusting with water or flour as needed.
Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
Divide into balls, flatten into discs, push seeds into dough, then cook on a heated pan until bubbling and golden.
Flip and cook until golden, then keep warm and repeat with remaining dough.
Notes
You can use gluten-free flour for a vegan, allergen-friendly option.
