1cupdiced tomatoes (or Pico de Gallo)
0.5cupMexican cheese blend (or to taste)
0.5cuptortilla strips or chips
0.5cupsour cream (or Taco Salad Dressing*)
0.25cupcilantro
Toppings

Instructions
Cook the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add taco seasoning and water. Cook for 3-5 minutes, then cool slightly.
Prepare toppings: Chop lettuce, slice avocado, dice tomatoes, and gather other desired toppings.
Assemble: Divide lettuce into bowls, top with cooked beef, cheese, tortilla chips, and other toppings. Garnish with cilantro and add dollops of sour cream or dressing.
Serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the salad.
