Ingredients

Meat

  • 2 lbs pounds beef chuck or sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • to taste Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Optional: Sear beef cubes in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, sauté garlic for 1–2 minutes, then stir in onion powder, paprika, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  • Place beef in slow cooker, pour garlic butter mixture over, and stir to coat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot with veggies, rice, or mashed cauliflower.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of soy sauce or serve with your favorite sides.
