Delicious and hearty chili cheese fries perfect for a quick snack or casual meal.

Ingredients

Meat and Beans

  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 small White onion (diced)
  • 3 15 oz. Cans Diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 2 15 oz. Cans Beans (black beans, kidney beans, drained)
  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder

Fries

  • 1 package Frozen french fries
  • 1 ½ cups Shredded cheddar cheese

Toppings

  • Green onions
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream

Instructions 

  • Cook ground beef and diced onion in a skillet until browned.
  • Add diced tomatoes with green chiles, beans, and chili powder. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • While the chili simmers, bake or cook the frozen french fries according to package instructions.
  • Top the cooked fries with chili, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and additional shredded cheese. Serve with sour cream.

Notes

For extra flavor, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
