Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cups Cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup cups Fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon tbsp Orange zest
  • 3 cloves cloves Fresh garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons tbsp Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • a few sprigs sprigs Fresh herbs (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken 5-7 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in the same skillet for 1 minute, then add cranberry sauce, orange juice, and zest. Simmer gently.
  • Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and simmer for 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Sprinkle herbs over chicken, then serve hot with sauce.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, simmer longer before serving.
