Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 head Napa Cabbage (thinly sliced)
  • 2 medium Carrots (shredded)
  • 3 stalks Green Onions (chopped)

Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or Maple Syrup (for vegan option use agave nectar)
  • 1 clove Garlic (freshly grated)
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (freshly grated)
  • Chili Flakes or Sriracha optional Chili Flakes or Sriracha (to taste)

Instructions 

  • In a large bowl, combine sliced Napa cabbage, shredded carrots, and chopped green onions.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), grated garlic, and ginger.
  • Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss to combine.
  • Optional: add chili flakes or Sriracha for heat, and toss again.
  • Serve immediately or chill for 10 minutes for more flavor.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
