Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add egg and molasses, mix well.
Mix in sifted flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Chill dough 10-15 minutes.
Roll dough into balls, coat with sugar, place on sheet, flatten slightly.
Bake for 10-13 minutes, cool on sheet 5 minutes before transferring.
