This hearty and creamy pasta dish combines ground beef, diced tomatoes with green chilies, and cheese for a flavorful meal that's easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz pasta (such as penne or rotini)
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced tomatoes with green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and serve hot.

Notes

You can add chopped onions or peppers for extra flavor.
