A rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs in a creamy mushroom sauce infused with garlic and herbs, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Marinate your chicken

  • 3 pieces chicken thigh (skin on and boneless)
  • to season Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 piece onion (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 200 g sliced mushroom
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp lemon juice

Garnish

  • 1 bunch chives

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, coat with cornstarch.
  • Fry chicken skin side down until golden, then set aside.
  • Melt butter, sauté garlic, onion, and mushrooms until soft.
  • Add cream, chicken stock, and parmesan; simmer until thickened. Season with herbs and lemon juice.
  • Return chicken to sauce, baste, then serve garnished with chives.

Notes

Serve with rice or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
