Ingredients

Rice

  • 1 cup rice (white or brown)
  • 2 cups water or broth

Shrimp

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

Butter

  • 3 tablespoons butter

Garlic

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Heavy Cream

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Lemon Juice

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and Pepper

Fresh Herbs

  • for garnish Fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)

Instructions 

  • Cook rice in water or broth until tender, keep warm.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Pour in heavy cream and lemon juice, simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Serve shrimp and sauce over rice, garnish with fresh herbs.

Use fresh herbs for best flavor and adjust seasoning as needed.
