A classic side dish with crunchy cabbage and carrots in a creamy, tangy dressing.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 medium carrots, grated

Dressing

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt (to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Shred cabbage and grate carrots.
  • Mix mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  • Add vegetables to dressing and stir.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add a handful of chopped apples or nuts.
