A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and a flavorful Alfredo sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta

Sauce and flavorings

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (thinly sliced)
  • Salt and black pepper Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • Sauté sliced chicken in olive oil until golden, then set aside.
  • Sauté garlic, add cream, butter, Parmesan, and nutmeg; simmer until smooth.
  • Return chicken to sauce, then toss with cooked pasta. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
