Ingredients

Protein

  • 16 oz Large Argentinian Shrimp (peeled and patted dry)
  • 1 unit Lemon (juice of 1 lemon)

Pasta

  • 14 oz Rigatoni Pasta

Seasonings & Oils

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Red Paprika Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano

Dairy & Vegetables

  • 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 1 unit Jalapeño (diced)
  • 1 unit Red Bell Pepper (diced)
  • 1 unit Yellow Onion (diced)
  • 0.5 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Herbs & Seasonings

  • to taste Salt & Pepper
  • optional Freshly grated Parmesan

Instructions 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook shrimp until pink; remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté diced vegetables and spices until fragrant.
  • Add tomato sauce and heavy cream; simmer until sauce thickens.
  • Return shrimp to the skillet, toss with sauce, and serve over cooked pasta, garnished with parsley and Parmesan if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan before serving.
