  • 8 oz Penne Pasta (Cooks to al dente for the perfect bite.)
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets (Can be swapped with cauliflower or spinach.)
  • 1 lb Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast (Can be replaced with turkey or shrimp.)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (Essential for sautéing.)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) (Adjust amount to suit garlic preference.)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (Can substitute with half-and-half or Greek yogurt.)
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (Add nutritional yeast for a vegan alternative.)
  • to taste Salt (Always adjust to enhance flavors.)
  • to taste Pepper (Always adjust to enhance flavors.)
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning (Optional, elevates flavor profile.)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (Chopped, adds freshness and color.)

Instructions 

  • Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté chopped garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in broccoli florets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream.
