A delicious and hearty pasta dish featuring ground beef in a creamy tomato sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Meat

  • 11 oz ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt (to taste) Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste) Black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 9 oz onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 9 oz tomato purée (blend ripe tomatoes until smooth)
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • ½ tsp sugar (optional, to cut acidity)
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Pasta water (as needed) Pasta water (as needed)
  • 3 oz cream
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 6 oz pasta of your choice

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • to taste Grated parmesan cheese
  • optional Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions 

  • Sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in olive oil until translucent.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned.
  • Stir in tomato purée, tomato paste, sugar, oregano, paprika, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain, reserving some pasta water.
  • Mix cooked pasta with sauce, add cream and mustard, stir well. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

Notes

For a richer flavor, simmer the sauce longer and garnish with fresh parsley and parmesan cheese.
