Enjoy these soft, cheesy pretzels with a crispy exterior and tender interior, perfect for snacking or sharing.
Ingredients
Dough

cottage cheese

(plus more for rolling)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
Blend cottage cheese until smooth, then mix with flour, baking powder, and salt. Knead into a smooth dough, divide into 6 pieces.
Roll each piece into a 20-inch rope, twist into pretzels, and secure ends.
Boil water with baking soda, then dip pretzels for 30 seconds. Remove and place on baking sheets.
Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with salt if desired, then bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.
Notes
Re-flour work surface as needed to prevent sticking.
