A refreshing and flavorful cold noodle dish with a rich peanut sesame sauce, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Noodles

  • 1 pack Asian noodles of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Gochugaru (Korean red pepper powder)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 2-3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp peanut sesame paste
  • 2 tbsp water

Garnish

  • to taste Cucumber strips (optional)
  • to taste Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Combine Gochugaru, sesame seeds, spring onion, and garlic in a heatproof bowl.
  • Heat vegetable oil until shimmering, then pour over spice mixture.
  • Add soy sauce and vinegar, stirring to combine.
  • Mix peanut sesame paste with water until smooth.
  • Combine sauces, cook noodles, rinse in cold water, then drain and place in a bowl.
  • Pour sauce over noodles, top with cucumber and sesame seeds, then serve.

Notes

Adjust the amount of Gochugaru for desired spice level.
