A refreshing and classic Caesar salad with crisp romaine, creamy dressing, and savory parmesan.

Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup homemade or store-bought croutons
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then tear into bite-sized pieces.
  • Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Add croutons and half of the grated Parmesan to the lettuce, drizzle with dressing, and toss gently.
  • Transfer to serving plates and top with additional Parmesan if desired.
  • Serve immediately for maximum freshness.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise.
