Ingredients

Butter and Chocolate

  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter ((115 g))
  • 4 oz dark chocolate ((chopped, 115 g))

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • Pinch salt

Optional Toppings

  • Vanilla ice cream ((optional for serving))
  • Powdered sugar ((optional for dusting))
  • Fresh berries ((optional for serving))

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare ramekins.
  • Melt butter and chocolate, then mix in powdered sugar.
  • Whisk in eggs, yolks, vanilla, then fold in flour and salt.
  • Divide batter into ramekins and bake for 11-13 minutes.
  • Invert onto plates, dust with powdered sugar or serve with ice cream and berries.

Notes

Ensure not to overbake for a gooey center.
