A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef, sweet onions, and savory sauces, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Meat

beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced

onion, thinly sliced
Oils and Aromatics

vegetable oil

garlic, minced

ginger, minced
Sauces and Liquids

soy sauce

tbsp
oyster sauce

hoisin sauce

Instructions
Toss beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and black pepper; marinate 10 mins.
Heat 1 tbsp oil; stir-fry beef in batches until browned, then set aside.
Add remaining oil; stir-fry onions 4-5 mins until soft and caramelized.
Add garlic and ginger; cook 1 min until fragrant.
Mix soy, oyster, hoisin sauces, sesame oil, and broth; return beef to pan, add sauce, and stir.
Add cornstarch slurry; cook 1-2 mins until thickened. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
