A delicious and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken and a rich tomato sauce, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 3-4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Pasta

  • 1 cup Pasta of your choice (penne or fettuccine)

Aromatics

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic

Canned Goods

  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)

Dairy

  • 1 cup heavy cream

Spices & Oils

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Olive oil, salt, and pepper Olive oil, salt, and pepper

Instructions 

  • Cook pasta until al dente; set aside.
  • Cook chicken in olive oil until golden, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Sauté garlic, then add diced tomatoes and juices; simmer briefly.
  • Pour in heavy cream, add Italian seasoning, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  • Serve hot, garnished with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half and half instead of heavy cream.
