Instructions
Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve ½ cup of water, then drain.
Heat olive oil in a skillet; cook cherry tomatoes for 5 minutes until soft.
Add garlic, salt, red pepper flakes; cook 1 minute, then crush tomatoes to release juices.
Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens; add cooked pasta, basil, Parmesan, and reserved water; toss.
Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil and Parmesan if desired.
